COOKING   TIME  AT  BAKSO  ATOM

“Hurray… It is cooking Time !!!”    cried the students of 2a and 2 b  as they set to go to  Bakso Sehat  Bakso Atom, Ciputat on Wednesday, September 27  th,  2013.

Cooking is one of the fun activities  that held by   Harapan Ibu Islamic Elementary  School ,  beside  many other ones such as fieldtrips, guest teachers, science experiments, and many more.

Through this event, they could explore their ability in doing something useful.

They listened to  the chef  when the chef  was  explaining  about the secret recipes  and the process of cooking meatballs. They also experienced  how to be cooperative with friends when they were  in a team work  to make a good food.

They also learned  to be familiar with the names and tastes of spices like ginger, pepper, garlic, and other  food flavors.  They saw carefully, find out,  and felt the taste of them  as well. Cooking delicious food  as meatballs needs  the proper  spices and flavor, the chef said. So they have to  know how to make it.

At Bakso  Atom home industry, they learned  how to make healthy meatballs that made of fresh Balinese beef.

Ibu Rini, the spokeswoman of Bakso  Atom told them  that her company choose  only the qualified meat  and other materials to get the best blend  and taste  of their products.

Bakso Atom is very creative. It  produces  the meatballs in various shapes and  tastes. The cheese meatball is round, the regular one is cylinder, and the tofu meatball is triangular.  It amazed everyone who came there  and tried  to enjoy one or more delicious choices .

Served hot with delicious spicy soup, they  could  mix the meatballs with noodles  and fried onion .  To complete the “feel” of this Chinese traditional  food,  please add   chili sauces or soybean ketchup.

hot... and Yummy  !!!!

As the citizens of Indonesia, Why not we come there? J

So…

On a bright sunny day in the end October 2013, We, the students of 2a and 2b Harapan Ibu Islamic  Elementary School come to visit TMII that is close from our school .

The first activity is travelling through islands by bus.  The bus goes slowly to give us time to  look at the amazing traditional houses ; Rumah Gadang from West Sumatera, Rumah Honai From Papua, Rumah Joglo from Jakarta, and so on. We also find the places where people worship the God; Mosques, Churches, and Temples.

After that, we visit PP IPTEK .It is a center of Science and Technology, a place where we can try electrical equipment safely and do science experiments easily. We also  learn about the variety of colors and sounds, light, and heat.

It takes about one hour visit  in  PP-IPTEK . Then, we go on our trip to Keong Mas. Here we watch the film about The Beauty Of Indonesia. Again, from this movie we can feel that Indonesia has a lot of things to be proud of.

Both the film entertains us and gives us lesson that we have to keep our nation very well. The country that Allah and our  ancients had given us the treasure that have to be found and kept.
The time goes so fast. After we have lunch and shop, we set to go to museum Bait Alqur-aan. We pray  Zuhur in the  mushalla of Bait Alqur-aan, and then  do travelling through the museum. In this place we get to know that Alqur-aan has been written in the different styles  of calligraphy , and different sizes, too. Here we were impressed by the biggest size of Alqur-aan that we haven’t ever seen before.

When we are staring at the variety of Alqur-aan and adore about them, we realize that  the time is up  and we have to go back to school.  I can’t move my steps and still wanna be there. But our teacher call us out loud :

“Guys . . . .  get in to the bus, let’s go back !!!”
Bye TMII, I promise to be back here again . . .
